Vsat System Description
The VSAT System is made up of the outdoor unit (ODU) subsystem and the indoor unit (IDU) subsystem. The following components make up the Out door unit subsystem:
The outdoor unit subsystem is made up of:
- Parabolic Reflector Antenna
- Antenna King post
- Feed system Assembly
- Block Up Converter (BUC)
- LNB
- Interfacility link cable
There are many types of the indoor unit depending on the Satellite Service provider.

The New Vital Network Solutions system is a two-way Multimedia Interactive system over satellite , that provides a cost-effective, reliable and immediate deployable solution for servicing broadband applications such as INTERNET ACCESS, Distance learning, Teleconferencing, Direct Video Broadcasting (DVB-S),Virtual private network (VPN)and more. By incorporating satellites to divert the transmission to/from different destinations, over large territories, by passing the bottlenecks of the terrestrial infrastructure.
New Vital Network Solutions offers multiple users to enjoy multimedia applications at unprecedented speeds, by incorporating forward link SCPC/DVD AND TDMA technology that can be configured to any data rate between 1.5-53Mbps, achieving an Inbound data rate of TCP/IP protocol of 1Mbps and higher per session . The return path from the Remote Gateway to the central Hub, also Using the DVB-S technology for the forward link enhances the efficiency of the space segment usage due to the natural feature of broadcasting of information to multiple users.
The New Vital Network Management System (NewVital NMS) enables dynamic time sharing of the SCPC/DVBforward channel between the users according to their actual needs, and dynamic channel assignment of the return channels for each InterSKY Remote Gateway and Idirect Modems thus providing an optimal usage of satellite bandwidth resources.
